The Club plans events such as luncheons, picnics, day trips, community volunteer projects, and monthly hiking and drop-in lunches activities. A newsletter keeps members up-to-date on the latest Club news. Dental insurance is available to Club members (who reside in California). We have members in 25 states.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"background-color: #0096d6; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">General Information:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Club Activities<\/span><\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monthly:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If hiking is your activity, there are opportunities to hike with friends or go on a scheduled walk.<\/li>\n<li>Join fellow members to no-host, drop-in lunches on the last Tuesday of each month, at a local restaurant (see flyer in newsletter for location and time).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Occasional: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>See Activity Calendar in tab on home page that include Happy Hour and Wine Tasting gatherings, museum tours, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Our Club Board is <u>seeking members who are interested in planning day-trip activities<\/u> in the greater Bay Area.\u00a0 Please reach out to a Board member to inquire about how we can help you set something up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Parties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Spring Fling<\/strong> Luncheon (March) \u2013 members get together for a wonderful luncheon. The agenda provides plenty of time to visit with friends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Picnic<\/strong> (June) \u2013 our annual picnic is always fun. Members have a great time sharing stories, and of course, enjoying a delicious B.B.Q. with all the trimmings. Door prizes are offered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Holiday Luncheon<\/strong> (December) \u2013 We end each year with a great Holiday party where fine food, door prizes and a holiday spirit dominate. At this party, we also inform members of the Club\u2019s past and future years\u2019 activities and recognize outgoing and incoming Board Members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Volunteering:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If you like volunteering, you can join fellow retirees in a variety of projects scheduled throughout the year. Future events will be noted in the Club\u2019s <strong>Calendar<\/strong> and <strong>Hot News<\/strong> for replays of past events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We email members every other month with a link to a very informative newsletter (that includes reminders of important passwords).
