The Club plans events such as luncheons, picnics, day trips, community volunteer projects, and monthly hiking and drop-in lunches activities. A newsletter keeps members up-to-date on the latest Club news. Dental insurance is available to Club members (who reside in California). We have members in 25 states.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"background-color: #0096d6; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">General Information:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Club Activities<\/span><\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\">:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Travel\/Touring:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Our Club Board is seeking members who are interested in planning day-trip activities in the greater Bay Area.\u00a0 Please reach out to a Board member to inquire about how we can help you set something up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Annual Parties:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Spring Fling Luncheon (March) &#8211; members get together for a wonderful luncheon. The agenda provides plenty of time to visit with friends.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Picnic (May\/June) &#8211; our annual picnic is always fun. Members have a great time sharing stories, and of course, enjoying a delicious B.B.Q. steak with all the trimmings. Door prizes are offered.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Holiday Lunch (December) &#8211; We end each year with a great Holiday party where fine food, prizes and a holiday spirit dominate. At this party, we also inform members of the Club&#8217;s past and future years&#8217; activities and recognize outgoing and incoming Board Members.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Zoom Events:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">On occasion, HPREC organizes virtual presentations by HP company&#8217;s speakers on topics of interest for the members. See Calendar for future events and Hot News for replay of past events.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Monthly Activities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If hiking is your activity, there are opportunities to hike with friends or go on a scheduled walk.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Join fellow members to no-host, drop-in lunches on the last Tuesday of each month, at a local restaurant (see flyer in newsletter for location and time).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Volunteering:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If you like volunteering, you can join fellow retirees in a variety of projects scheduled throughout the year.
