{"id":2932,"date":"2020-07-17T14:35:17","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T21:35:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hpretirees.org\/myhprec\/?page_id=2932"},"modified":"2026-03-14T20:50:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T03:50:37","slug":"renew-membership","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hpretirees.org\/myhprec\/renew-membership\/","title":{"rendered":"Renew Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- Added by Post\/Page Specific Custom Code plugin, thank you for using! -->\n<style>hr {\r\n    border-top: 2px black;\r\n    border-color: black;\r\n    background-color: black;\r\n    color: black;\r\n}<\/style>\n<p style=\"background-color: #0096d6; text-align: left;\"><p \r\nstyle=\"text-align: center;\r\n           width: 100%;\r\n           height: 30px;\r\n           margin-left: auto;\r\n           margin-right: auto;\r\n           background-color: #0096d6;\">\r\n\r\n<\/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\n\n<p>To renew membership, you need to login and if you never logged in myHPREC, you would have to:<\/p>\n<p>1) create your personal password (see process below)<\/p>\n<p>2) complete the renewal process to activate your membership in <strong>myHPREC.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>If this doesn&#8217;t work for you, use the <strong>Join the Club<\/strong> link<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Look below for important information on:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">CHOOSING YOUR PERSONAL PASSWORD<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">UNDERSTANDING MY USERNAME PROVIDED<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">WHAT IF MY EMAIL ADDRESS DOESN\u2019T WORK?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.6667px;\"><b>CREATE YOUR PERSONAL PASSWORD<\/b><br \/>\nTo create a personal password, you must &#8220;reset&#8221; your password by following these steps:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Click <strong>Log in<\/strong> in the panel to the right<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Click <strong>Forgot Password<\/strong> under the Log In black box<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Enter the email address where you received the renewal email<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>(must start with email address; your username will be provided in the email sent to you after you click on Request Password Reset)<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Click on <strong>REQUEST PASSWORD RESET<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>COMPLETE THE RENEWAL PROCESS<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Click on <strong>Renew Membership<\/strong> in the panel to the right to continue the renewal process.\u00a0 Follow the instructions to renew your membership in our new system.\u00a0 You will have an option to pay by credit card (preferred) or by check (see instructions at bottom of online form).<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">CHOOSING YOUR PERSONAL PASSWORD<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The Club prefers you choose a password that registers as \u201cStrong\u201d or Stronger when entering it in the bottom of the online form (to enhance security), even though the system will accept a \u201cMedium\u201d strength password. <u>Record<\/u> your password, as the Club does not provide that information to you.\u00a0 Tips on selecting one:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">use at least 8 characters<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">include at least <u>one<\/u> of each: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special character accepted by the system<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">UNDERSTANDING MY PROVIDED USERNAME <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">When your membership data was loaded from our old system to <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>myHPREC<\/strong><\/span>, the system needed to generate a <strong>username<\/strong>. Your provided username will display in the password reset email. The username CANNOT be changed in the system.\u00a0 You can use your email address instead in the username field.\u00a0 After resetting your password, you will be logged in and land on our home page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">WHAT IF MY EMAIL ADDRESS DOESN\u2019T WORK?<\/span>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Use the email address where you received the renewal email<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If you did NOT receive a renewal email, try other email addresses you may have used in the past. Note, if the email address you&#8217;ve previously used for the Club has been abandoned, then you will not be able to receive the Password Reset email.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t have access to the email address, click on <strong>Join the Club<\/strong> in the panel to the right and follow the steps to join the Club.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If you did not provide an email address or your email address was not accepted by the Forgot Password process, then your email does not match what was loaded from Legacy Membership database or the data was not transferred.
