As part of our new COVID-19 protocols, walkers must sign up on our NEW myHPREC website in advance and supply their emergency contact information electronically. This is necessary to avoid close contact on the day of the walk and to make sure the maximum of number of walkers for each session is 10 (including the walk leader).
Meet at the large paved parking lot near the restrooms at Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park. Take 101 to the CA-84 E/Marsh Road exit. Take Marsh Road east and immediately get in the left lane to go straight on Marsh Road into the park entrance. The restrooms are straight ahead just a little beyond the park entrance. There is ample parking. We will meet at the bathrooms.
The relatively flat 2.3-mile trail around the perimeter of Bedwell Bayfront Park is part of the San Francisco Bay Trail. The park’s 160 acres are surrounded on three sides by the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
