As part of our new COVID-19 protocols, walkers must sign up on our NEW myHPREC website in advance and supply their emergency contact information electronically. This is necessary to avoid close contact on the day of the walk and to make sure the maximum of number of walkers for each session is 15 (including the walk leader).
Meet at the Natures Preserve Trailhead. Take 101 to the San Antonio North exit off Highway 101. Follow San Antonio towards the bay until it ends at Terminal Blvd. Go right onto Terminal Boulevard and park. We will meet near the bathrooms.
We should see a variety of birds, including pelicans, avocets, egrets, ducks, grebes, and geese. The weather may be breezy along the bay, so dress accordingly.
