Meet across from the Lucy Evans Nature Center sign in the Palo Alto Baylands. (There will be no carpools.) Take 101 to the Oregon Expressway / Embarcadero Road exit and go east (toward the bay on Embarcadero Road). Go 0.8 miles until Embarcadero Road ends at a “T” intersection, and then go left. Go 0.4 miles, past the Duck Pond, to the Lucy Evans Nature Center. Park in the parking lot on the right across from the Lucy Evans Nature Center sign. There is ample parking. We will meet in the parking lot.
The walk will be quite flat on the levees. There should be lots of shorebirds for us to see.
