Meet at the carpool location* where we will form carpools if you are fully vaccinated.
The carpools are expected to arrive about 11am.
To go directly to this walk, take Highway 17 to Santa Cruz; then take highway one toward Half Moon Bay. Turn left onto Western Drive, which is one light after Swift Street. Turn right on Mission Street. Turn left on Natural Bridges Drive. Turn left onto Delaware Avenue and park for free or turn right onto Swanton Boulevard. Turn right into Natural Bridges State Park. The park address is 2531 West Cliff Drive, Santa Cruz. The starting point is the southern edge of the main parking lot near the restrooms.
The park entry fee is $10 or you may park for free on Delaware Avenue near Natural Bridges Drive.
The plan is to walk the entire Monarch trail and then exit the park and walk east on West Cliff drive for about a mile and then return to the starting point.
