Meet at the HPQ carpool location* or if you would like to meet at the hike site, meet at 8219 Geary Blvd at 46th Avenue, San Francisco, 94121.
Please note that the parking above the Sutro Bath ruins and at Lands End are known “smash and grab” hot spots and we will not park there. This San Francisco hike includes all of Adah Bakalinsky’s walk number 10 (Sutro’s Legacy for All Time). Planned discussions during the hike are the history of Sutro’s Mansion, current pictures of the exhaust water tunnel at the bath ruins, current and old pictures of Battery Chester and Lookout Station at Fort Miley, old pictures of the Sutro Steam Train, and the Western Terminus of the Lincoln Highway.
