If you you are going to the hike site:
Driving directions: Take Hwy 85 to the Almaden Expressway exit. Proceed south about 1.2 miles to McAbee Road and turn right. Continue on McAbee Road for 1.7 miles to the end (at Whispering Pines Drive) to the entrance gate. Park on the street nearby and meet at the entrance gate.
Hike:
Almaden Quicksilver Park is the site of over 135 years of mining activities, and we’ll see remnants of the Senador Mine as we make our way through the park. We’ll also hike by the Guadalupe Reservoir and catch some spectacular vistas along the way.
