> SPRING FLING LUNCHEON - Our March 13 luncheon was a great success! Wonderful guest speakers Webb McKinney and his co-author, Philip Meza discussed their collaboration on BECOMING HEWLETT PACKARD – Why Strategic Leadership Matters. More attendees wanted to purchase a book, but demand was greater than supply. If you still wish to purchase a book for $25.00 (50% off the $39.95 plus tax/shipping), email Carol Nakamoto at CarolsCorner@hpretirees.org and request one, no later than April 20. Send a check to our HPREC mailing address by then as well. She and Webb are working on another book signing opportunity at the May 20 Picnic.

> PICNIC - Click HERE to sign up for the Sat. May 20 event at Cuesta Park, Mtn. View.  Cost is $30/person. If you prefer, you can complete the flyer in the newsletter and mail in it with with a check. May 10 is deadline for both online and mail in reservation.

> HP STORE - Hewlett Packard Enterprise has CLOSED the HP Store in Palo Alto due to declining sales of discount items (primarily due to Disneyland's decision to drop its Corporate Discount Program).  HPE is working on a communication that we will share in the next newsletter regarding what items will be transferred to online availability.
